At Westmount Neighbourhood Pet Clinic we offer professional grooming services for dogs and cats in addition to our veterinary services.
Individualized Care
Our team at Westmount Neighbourhood Pet Clinic schedules each family member an individual grooming appointment and we focus on their needs when they are with us. We design our schedule to ensure they have the highest amount of personal time possible while they are cared for by our team.
Each of our dog grooms go through several steps which includes:
- Nail trim
- Ear cleaning and trimming
- Teeth cleaning
- Pre-bathing trim
- Human grade, colour corrected or all natural shampoos
- Deep coat and skin conditioner
- Towel dry
- Hand blow dry
- Finish trim
- Hand scissored finishes
Each of our cat grooms may go through similar stages depending on our little feline's temperment. Several cats we groom are ok having a bath and some are not. We always keep detailed notes and make sure we continue to make the time with us as pleasant as possible.
Bath & Brush out
Not every furry family member needs to be groomed every 4, 6, or 8 weeks or sometimes you may want to help keep them clean in between your regular grooming appointments. To do that you can bring them in for a Bath & Brush out, basically a mini groom. We will trim their nails, give them a bath and hand dry them, and then trim up around their face and feet. This helps maintain their coat length, keeps them more comfortable and helps them smell great longer. A quick trim at the doggy spa might be just what they need.
Bathing at home
Some of our clients like to bathe their family member at home in between their regular visits to our Dog Grooming Salon. If that is you, we have a full line of human grade shampoos and conditioners for you. They are all blended to work together to give you the best results possible.
